Broccoli Cheese Pie

Ingredients

1 pound broccoli (fresh)
2 tbsp chopped onion
1/4 cup water
4 slightly beaten eggs
1/4 cup cream
4 drops hot sauce

1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tblsp fresh minced parsley
2/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Directions

Trim large leaves off broccoli. Remove tough ends of lower stalks, and wash broccoli thoroughly; cut into flowerets and stems into thin slices.

Combine broccoli, onion, and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan; cover and cook over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes. Drain thoroughly, pressing out moisture with paper towels.

Combine the other ingredients except parmesan cheese together. Stir in vegetables and pour into a 9" greased pie pan. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
