Cranberry-praline Mascarpone Spread

Ingredients

1/3 C Hazelnuts, chopped fine
1/4 C Splenda
1 T Butter
1/4 t Vanilla
1 8 oz Carton Mascarpone cheese

1/2 t Orange peel, finely shredded
1 T Orange sugar free Davinci syrup
1/4 C Dried cranberries, chopped
1 T Heavy cream

Directions

Line a baking sheet with foil. Butter the foil and set aside.



Cook hazelnuts, splenda, butter, and vanilla in a skillet over medium heat until golden, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon. Immediately spread coated nuts on the prepared baking sheet. Cool nuts and break into chunks, finely chop.



In a medium mixing bowl beat cheese, orange peel, and davinci syrup with an electric mixer on medium speed until combined. Stir in dried cranberries. Stir in finely chopped nut mixture and 1 tablespoon of heavy cream. Serve garnished with orange peel curls.
